Sisyrinchium angustifolium
Blue-eyed Grass

A small artificial wetland fed by a six foot length of drip soaker line
run twica a day for 10 minutes keeps this water lover wet, cool and
blooming several months out of the summer. It self-seeds quite readily
but is easily controlled as it naturally confines itself to damp areas.
Fresh blossoms open each morning and wither within an hour
of exposure to the sun.

First blooms opened 05/14/2005
First photo above was taken summer of 2004
