Here's a miscellaneous collection of statues and sculptures from around Berlin. Upper right is the Neptune fountain over by the Fernsehturm. Next we have a modern art sculpture on Kurfurstenstrasse, I think. I have no idea why this guy is wrestling the pig in the park across the street from Hotel Berlin. Helmholz is a famous scientist that made great strides in our understanding of the physics of music in his book "The Sensations of Tone", 1877. I have an English translation published in 1954 at home. I have no idea why this guy is tacked to the side of this building. I don't even remember where I was walking to when I saw it, but it's within walking distance of Hotel Berlin.
