Originally built as St. Peter and Paul's church, it was renamed during Soviet times as "Koncertzal Ave Sol" and is now used as a concert hall. I've not been able to gather much other historical information about the building. We have no idea how many attended our concert here. The lights on the stage were very bright and the hall was very dark. Our performance was enthusiastically received, even the pieces we sang in Latvian! Right in the middle of one piece some electrical component in the lighting exploded, sounding like a gunshot, then some of the stage lights went out. It was quite exciting!
