In late 2016 a family health crisis prompted a re-evaluation of priorities and created a need for a goal, something to look forward to. This trip was planned to meet that need. The crisis passed, and while recovery continues, we enjoyed the reward for the difficulties endured. We also decided that maybe it's not necessary to wait for a crisis to plan something really cool!
On March 28, 2018 we flew to Athens to join a cruise on the Viking Star for 12 days, followed by a week in Berlin. So, are you ready? Let's Go!
We cruised to the following ports:
- Athens
- Santorini
- Gythio, Mystras
- Corfu
- Kotor, Budva
- Dubrovnik
- Zadar, Sibenik
- Koper, Ljubljana
- Venice, Murano, Burano
- Then, we took the train to spend a week with family in Berlin.
