Glasgow

We arrived in Glasgow on a rather bleak day. Little did we know this would set the tone for much of our entire two week stay.

We pretty much hit the ground running. Our morning arrival gave us enough time to hang out in the lobby forever waiting for rooms. We finally got checked in and hopped on our bus for a quick spin around town. We toured the Glasgow Cathedral - a superb example of Scottish Gothic architecture. We explored it rather thoroughly.

From the Cathedral we took a short trip down to the Doulton Fountain in Glasgow Green. Our tour was brief and most of my photography was confined to what I could shoot out the window of a moving bus, a theme to be repeated far too frequently for my taste...
