Waterford
I have admired Waterford Crystal in high end department stores back at home. It is quite remarkable to actually see the factory in action. It's hard to imagine the beautiful pieces in Macy's originated as a lump of glass in the furnace right in front of you. We arrived in town and went directly to a tour of the glassworks. Then we hit the streets on foot - after a suitable dessert, of course.
