A load of wood cut to the length of the firebox is stacked in the back. The Heisler is a geared engine with two opposing cylinders on either side, kind of like a motorcycle engine sitting sideways, turn a drive shaft that is connected to both the front and rear sets of wheels, giving it 8 wheel drive!
