|The top of Gediminas hill is an easy walk from downtown. Up there you'll find the remains of a 14th century castle with a museum in the tower. From the top of the tower, the views are endless. At the base of the hill a new bridge crosses the Neris, and people gather around the statue of Gediminas, Grand Duke of Lithuania and founder of Vilnius in 1323.
From the top right, down:
- The view to the northeast.

- South, directly up Didzioil (observe, from left to right, the Church of St. Casimir, Orthodox Church of St. Mikolaj, Town Hall (we sang an evening concert on the town hall steps), and university's Church of St. John)
