How to send me e-mail

I love to hear from visitors to my web site.  It is my desire to have my e-mail address readily accessible to anyone wishing to comment on or ask questions about anything on my site.  Unfortunately, there are a number of organizations that electronically collect e-mail addresses from personal home pages such as mine and sell those addresses to other organizations.  I don't like getting junk e-mail. IF YOU SEND ME UNSOLICITED ADVERTISEMENTS I WILL BLACKLIST YOUR COMPANY AND NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM YOU EVER.    If you don't provide a method of removing me from your list, I will complain to your ISP.   I don't need cheap printer cartridges.  No, I'm not going to pay you to submit my URL to 300 search engines.  Do you have a product to sell? Then get yourself registered with one of the many search engines and when I want your services, I'll call you.  Don't ask me where to find a free copy of Webcam32 software.  If you can't afford the $25 for a legitimate copy, don't buy a camera. I don't want free airline tickets to Detroit in January.  Why do you think I would do business with someone using a stolen e-mail account?  I don't get it...

If you have something meaningful and personal to communicate, please, by all means, do so. I'd love to hear from you!   My e-mail address is:

Sorry, you'll have to type it in manually.

This web site is non-commercial in every sense of the word.  There is nothing here for sale.  Everything here is for my own amusement.  When I get tired of maintaining and paying for it, it will go away.  I maintain this site in its entirety, as well as the Oregon Chorale site, with my own time out of my own pocket.  While it's not enormously expensive, I've invested a couple of hundred dollars over the past several years just to maintain the more than 150 megabytes of information contained here.  I have no idea why.  That's a different issue. When I'm ready to deal with it, there are professionals that can help...

Headhunters - I'm perfectly happy with my current job.  I'm not looking for another position of any type at this time.  I am not interested in the possibility of employment more than 10 miles from my current residence.  My resume (6 years out of date, by the way) is posted to allow people with similar experiences and interest to locate me for the exchange of technical information.  I do keep a list of possible job contacts for future reference.  Feel free to send me your name and address and I'll keep it on file.  If you're going to try to twist my arm into relocating or applying for a new job, I probably don't want you representing me, anyway.  Additionally, don't pump me for names and contacts.  I don't do to my friends and colleagues what I wouldn't want them to do to me - I don't give out other people's names or numbers.

Did you know? By US Code Title 47, Sec.227(a)(2)(B), a computer/modem/printer meets the definition of a telephone fax machine. By Sec.227(b)(1)(C), it is unlawful to send any unsolicited advertisement to such equipment, punishable by action to recover actual monetary loss, or $500, whichever is greater, for each violation.

That about covers it.  Thanks for listening...
